What can you expect when working with me (and what I expect of you).
I have specific values and boundaries and I’ve outlined them below. By engaging in my services, you expressly agree to abide by these values and boundaries.
Working hours
My normal working hours are Monday to Friday between 0900 and 1600. I do not work weekends or bank holidays.
Any requests for support outside of my normal working hours, will be subject to an out-of-hours hourly fee of £75.00.
Communication
My preferred communication method is email or video call using MS Teams. Telephone calls can be arranged by prior arrangement. Please don’t add me to your own comms systems (eg Discord, Slack) as I will not be monitoring these channels.
When you email me, I will respond within 24-hours and will endeavor to provide a solution or carry out your requested task within 24-hours.
Billing
Invoices are issued on the last working day of the month for work carried out during that month and for site support plans for the following month. Invoices for ad-hoc work will be issued once the work has been completed. I issue my invoices electronically and they are due for settlement upon receipt.
Failure to settle an outstanding invoice within my payment terms may result in a cessation of service until the invoice is settled.
Refusal of service
I reserve the right to refuse to work with an individual or business if I believe that individual or business is engaged in activities which are immoral, offensive, obscene or illegal.
What I expect of you
I expect you to be polite, professional and courteous in all of our dealings. I also expect you to respond to my communication in a timely manner, as I will to yours.
Our business relationship is a 2-way street, so I expect you to be willing to engage in and do what’s necessary to enable me to provide you with the service you have requested.
