If you manage your own WordPress website, you’ll know that pressing the ‘update’ button can fill you with dread… what happens if an update changes how your site looks, or even worse, breaks it? 🙄
The process that I use to process updates takes that element of the unknown away.
ALL updates, whether its WordPress core, themes or plugins, are completed in a safe stage first.
This means that the effect of an update is tested before it ever reaches your live website. So should an update cause an issue with the set-up of your website, it’s never rolled onto your live site.
