Picking the right Website Care Plan for your needs (and your budget), may leave you scratching your head!

In this article, I’ll break down each WordPress Site Care Plan, so you can make the best decision for your needs. OK, let’s take a look at each on in detail.

Plan name: MAINTAIN – £19.00 per month or £190.00 per year

This is the cheapest plan, but it also comes with the least features. I’ve purposely included the most important features, which are daily website back-ups and safe updates for WordPress core, themes and plugins. Under this plan, any tasks you ask me to carry out, will be charged at a reduced hourly rate of £40.00 per hour (normally £50.00ph).

Choose this plan if you are happy with managing the content on your website and just need to outsource the back-ups and software updates.

Don’t choose this plan if you need help with uploading new blog posts, pages or other content management tasks.

Plan name: GROW – £35.00 per month or £350.00 per year

This is the most popular plan my clients choose. As well as taking daily website back-ups and performing safe updates for WordPress core, themes and plugins, you also get some additional benefits.

You get website monitoring for uptime, performance and security. I also optimise your website daily (removing spam comments and old content revisions.

Under this plan, you also get 4 x 15-minute tasks, which you can utilise to ask me to upload new content, or edit existing content.

Choose this plan if you want to completely outsource the day-to-day running of your website, so you can focus on helping your clients and growing your business.

Don’t choose this plan if you haven’t got the budget or your website has an online community that requires more intensive help and support.

Plan name: SERVE – £95.00 per month or £950.00 per year

This plan has been designed for website owners who also run an online community (either a membership or an eLearning platform).

As well as all of the benefits of the GROW Plan, you also get additional support in relation to your community. This could be anything from providing a dedicated email support address, to learner progress reports that you can send to your clients.

This plan is more bespoke and tailored to your specific requirements.

Choose this plan if you need intensive support for your website and your online community.

Conclusion

  • If you want just the back-ups and updates taken care of, pick the MAINTAIN Plan
  • If you want to outsource the day-to-day running of your website, pick the GROW Plan
  • If you run an online community and need help managing that, pick the SERVE Plan
